Finally, you've reach the school with two minutes until the bell. You run in the front doors and down the hall, one minute. You slide around the corner and dash into your homeroom right as Mr. Holder is closing the door.

"Cutting it close, Mr. Cox" Mr. Holder looks at you sternly. 

As you turn away from him, you roll your eyes, 'What a butt-head.' You sit down at your desk, to the right: the cutest girl in class, and to your left: Eugene...the glue eater. You used to sit with your best friend Tyler, until we caused so much commotion you had to be separated. You look back and see him poking the back of a girl's head with his pencil. She turns around and slaps the pencil out of his hand. You chuckle to yourself as you turn back around and Mr. Holder begins class. It is all pretty boring, but you have almost made it to lunch.

There is a knock on the classroom door, "Keep reading." Teacher says as he opens the door. You peek out from the top of your book, it's Ms. Wood. Mr. Holder seems to be getting really happy about what ever it is they are talking about. Ms. Wood runs her fingers from the knot of your teachers tie down to the tip...and then keeps going. She twists her hand around and she appears to have cupped Mr. Holder's private parts, but it's hard to be sure. He jumps a little. Ms. Wood smiles, then turns and walks away.

"Attention class, Ms. Wood wanted me to remind you to meet in her room, 106, after lunch for health class."

You doubt that is the only thing she mentioned, no way he is that happy about health class. The teacher starts to get a little concerned for some reason. His eyes dart toward you, then away, then back to you. A mischievous grin comes across his face. 

The lunch bell rings.

"Alex, can I talk to you a moment?"

Dang! You had almost made it out the door..."Sure, Mr. Holder."

"Alex, I have a little problem. Ms. Wood invited me to...confer with her over lunch, but I already have a previous engagement."

Your eyes narrow, "So..."

"Well, the other appointment, it is with your mother, so I thought you could take my place."

"Why is my mommy meeting you?"

"...just a parent/teacher conference promise, boring really," rolling his eyes, "It would probably be more fun for her if you played with her anyway..." He has that grin again...
