“Well,” she says, and then the daughter weaves around the mother and cuts in and takes over for the explanation.

“Yeah!” The mother confirms, looking a little annoyed. “It seems like humans in this area are not having enough babies. There is some kind of law now that gods are not allowed to directly intervene in this world anymore,” she says.

“Yeah!” The mother says, regaining control of the conversation. “But you are also human, so that rule doesn’t apply to you. Lady Eostra wants to make you her vassal if you will make more human girls pregnant.”

Say what? Is this? A messenger from a powerful goddess telling you she wants you to go around having a lot of sex and getting girls knocked up?
