Biography
Shreya is a social butterfly in town who does everything to support her husband. Whenever there is a town or church function going on, she can often be seen there in an official capacity, directing the set-up and running the supplies her husband provides from his shop to the location where the event is to take place.
Her husband has told her about how her daughter has begun stealing. She harshly disciplined her for this, but she does not know what to do about her as nothing seems to be working. She is certain her daughter is going to wind up pregnant as a result of the new disciplinary standards. She brought up the line to her husband in the new standards about how the family can be forced to commit incest with a misbehaving girl, and was told that if that looked like it was going to happen her he would immediately disown her. She knows he will do it too as he has sent all the other daughters he has had with her to the orphanage.
She is aware of the value of image, and has had enough with her daughter's antics. As such, she is already prepared to send her daughter off to the orphanage and has even weighed the idea of sending her off before she can do any damage to the family's reputation.
