If this is right after the mom leaves, then I can understand the transition from lap to holding her in your arm, but don't know how it will play if you like getting lunch with her. Maybe a set up phrase to say you pick her up if you choose to have some other activity before taking the kid for some personal time for the first time.JackalTomb (talk) 09:37, 22 June 2018 (CEST)
