I altered this mainly because I thought the MC needed a name.
I'm not sure that is a good idea . . . especially as you chose a name that isn't gender neutral.  David is NOT a name that is generally used for women (or ''at all'' in my experience).  Since there is a choice to be female, having the character named David is illogical.  If the character must be named, a gender neutral name like: Taylor, Ashley, Jesse, Lee, Jordan, etc. would be a better choice.  The story that this is based on does perfectly fine without a name, however.  The character is usually just referred to as ''Mister'' or ''Miss'' in that story.  That said, the story this seems to be based on is pretty much based on interactions with strangers.  If one wanted to deal with someone who knows the character, a name is vital . . . but yeah . . . gender neutral would be better.  --[[User:Elerneron|Elerneron]] ([[User talk:Elerneron|talk]]) 14:02, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
