"They are still in bed," Mrs Smith says when she opens the door. "Help yourself to a drink if you want one, I'll see you later."
You bought your books up with you, spread them on the dining table and get stuck in. You've got most of it done when the door opens and Alice comes in. You don't get an answer to your good morning, just a glare, so you assume that she is still pissed off. You can't help noticing that she is wearing a rather short nightie that barely covers her arse. She clatters about in the kitchen for a bit and then Trevor comes out, wearing only the bottom half of his pyjamas.
You get a smile from him as he follows his sister into the kitchen. You leave them to it and get back to your books. After a few minutes, Alice marches back through the room and disappears back into her bedroom. This time you pay more attention to her rear you wonder if she realises how much she is exposing.
"Don't mind her," Trevor says when he comes back. He walks round and stands beside you, looking at what you've been doing.
"It's okay, all I've got to do is sit here and make sure you don't set fire to the place," you say, closing up your books and standing up." You walk through into the sitting room and flop down in one of the armchairs.
Trevor follows you. "She's not always like that," he says "it's just that… Well, we sort of had plans."
"What were you going to do, take all your clothes off and run around naked," you ask, intending it to be a joke. When he blushes, you realise that it must be something like that that they had in mind. "Don't mind me," you say. "So long as you're not about to wreck anything, I don't really care what you get up to.
