You'd feel pretty weird jerking off in the room next to where the doctor was giving instructions. What if someone opened the door by mistake while the Doc wasn't looking? Best to just keep it in your pants for now.

You settle in, and watch the naked show for a bit, until you get a bit bored; then start thumbing through the magazines. You read a bit of a Grognak the Barbarian when the chime sounds. You look up, and see the ladies dressing in their vault suits. It seems that some very plain white underwear is provided with the suits. Rather boring fare . . . and how do they get the cup size right on the bras. They seem to conform to the ladies regardless of their size as do the vault suits. Technology sure is amazing.

The next group goes into the decontamination chamber and you relish watching as they undress. You do your job after they finish, finishing by pulling the lever to start the process. Just after the lever gets to the bottom you hear a huge explosion and feel the entire vault shake. What just happened? you scream in your mind. Did I somehow cause this with the lever? Is everyone okay? You frantically look into the chamber to assure yourself that everything is okay. The ladies seem concerned, but unharmed. Actually some of them are rather more than concerned; they are absolutely frantic. You are getting there yourself. You barely have the presence of mind to turn off the lights before rushing out to find out what is going on.

"-without an Overseer," says Doctor Romero into her wrist thing. "Could you check it out. We have a lot of worried people up here."

*I'll see what I can find out. I have the Security Chief here too. I'll take her along in case it's sabotage,* says a voice from the device.

"Alright," says Doctor Romero, "I think I saw the Chief of Psychiatry in the next room. I'll see if she'll use the intercom to try to calm the residents."

*Sounds good,* says the voice, *I'll call back when I figure out what's going on.*

"Very well," says Doctor Romero as she heads for the door you originally came through. She opens the door and calls through it, "Doctor Charbonneau?"

"Oui," comes a sweetly accented voice just before a lovely young lady with dark hair and freckles makes her way through the crowd. She looks much too young and pretty to be a psychiatrist; but she has a air of clam confidence that assures you that she could be anything she wanted to be. "I am Doctor Charbonneau," she continues in her lovely french accent. "You need for me to use the intercom to relay a message of comfort, no?"

"Yes, if you please Doctor Charbonneau. You can use my Pipboy please; as you have not been issued yours yet."

"Mais oui," says the young doctor, "But of course." She gently takes Doctor Romero's arm and activates some buttons on the wrist device, which must be a Pipboy. "Attention, attention residents of Vault 69. This is Doctor Charbonneau." The effect of her speaking right in front of you while her voice also comes over the intercom is rather odd and disconcerting, but her accent puts you at ease. "We are aware that the recent commotion is quite upsetting. Know that we have everything well in hand and are investigating what has occurred as quickly as we can. We will alert you as to the nature of the disturbance as soon as we are able. In the meantime it is best to try to remain calm. We had just begun the decontamination process; and it is of utmost importance to our life here in the vault that we finish this process. We know that this is not going to be easy; but we ask that you do your best for the future of our families, and this country that I call my own as well. We will give you more information as we receive it. Thank you for your understanding." She releases Doctor Romero's Pipboy. "This was good, oui?"

"It seems to be doing the trick," says Doctor Romero as she looks around at the people. They still seem worried, but not nearly as frantic as before. "We should get you in the next decontamination group just to be ready. We need you connected in on this to keep the people calm. We have the Chief Engineer and the Security Chief already through decontamination and investigating the incident."

"Mais oui," she replies calmly. She then turns to one of the ladies in the room. "Pardon mademoiselle, I am sorry but could you let me your spot, s'il vous plait?"

"Of course, Doctor Char-bo-new. We need to get you in there. Poor dear; I don't envy you your job."

"Merci beaucoup, mademoiselle."

"Oh Tay," says Doctor Romero, "in all the confusion I forgot to talk to you. Doctor Charbonneau, this is Taylor Willis. He go placed in here instead of Vault 68 through a computer error. He's been helping me with the decontamination protocols."

"This is a big job for a man of your age, oui? I am sure that you make your family proud. But they must be worried over you, no? Should you not be with them?"

"That's a good point Tay. I don't think anyone would complain about the nudity thing if you want to go with the next group to rejoin your family. I could use your help; but you are still a young man, and you should be with your family at a stressful time like this. I'll leave it up to you. What do you want to do?"

What do you want to do?
