This should be it for the starting cast. I have others that I want to add later; but I finally got all the department heads in, which should allow me to start writing soon. Any input on the characters so far? Some feedback would be nice whether you just want to read, or you might be interested in helping write. Any character types that aren't here that you would like to see in the story? --Elerneron (talk) 16:30, 24 August 2019 (UTC) | This should be it for the starting cast. Is Taylor going to be the next Overseer? Also, can the "fem-bots" (forget name) be used for sex? Maybe have Taylor's sperm "harvested" and equally distributed between the fertile females. The experience scares Taylor, and the idea is scrapped and they go back to fertilizing the female the old fashioned way. --MrPib (talk) 22:24, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
Yes, Taylor will be the Overseer. That is two pages away from where I am now. There are . . . difficulties . . . with using assaultrons as sexbots. The biggest one is the tech base of the Fallout universe. Because they never invented the silicone chip, robots are bigger and clunckier than most sci-fi fare. That said, Fallout 4 had androids that were indistinguishable from people. That technology is biological, and not mechanical, and is two hundred years in the future from when our story is set. The intervening technologies could possibly somehow be researched in the vault and allow for a more "friendly" version of the assaultron . . . sexaultron?. I'll consider it, but it isn't at the top of my list of story ideas. Keep them coming if you would like though. I'm always open to ideas for stories that I am working on. --Elerneron (talk) 07:58, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
I brought up the Assaultrons because of what Jemini had said about vault 68, the girl's eggs could be harvested, and implanted into an Android, and a crude "Japanese Sperm Donation Machine" could be placed into an Assaultron because the women (except Doc Romero and the french shrink) find it unsettling to screw a 10 year old. Then Taylor's "experience" with the modded Assaultron would lead to both Doc Romero and the Shrink both telling the Women that Taylor is to hurt, both physically and mentally ( they are both doctors {MD and a Phd respectively}) to continue using the sexaultron, and it is in the best interest of the Vault that they procreate the old fashioned way. Perhaps the first woman could be chosen by drawing a number (unigue number assigned to each vault resident), then assure that the first would not be his family (prevent the effects of inbreeding blah blah blah). And perhaps the lotto is rigged so that either of the Docs is chosen. They then assure Taylor that they were chosen at random 'wink'

Hey, I think SPECIAL should be 1-10, like how the games do it --Foreman(talk)
I don't find enough variety to make good distinctions between characters with a 1-10 scale, so I use a 1-100 scale. If it helps you can think of, for instance, an 87 as 8.7. There would be too much similarity between different character's attributes if I used a 1-10 scale. In a game where the PC is the only one the stats are displayed for, it isn't a problem; but when you want to compare large numbers of characters it can cause a degree of "sameness" to them. --Elerneron (talk) 14:38, 8 August 2020 (CEST)
==The Warrens== | |||
The Warren brood is a complicated family. It will take me a while to get the whole mess out there. Yvette had a LOT of kids, and her sons and daughters had families, so it will be a bit as I get all of the families on the page. Most of her family is well adjusted, but troublesome June (who got pregnant at nine and gave birth at ten) and June's daughter Tina (who got pregnant at eight, and gave birth at nine), are still living with her; as is Gigi, a surprise baby she had two years ago because she thought she couldn't have kids anymore. --Elerneron (talk) 20:02, 29 March 2020 (CEST)
Hey, are there 6 different Warren families because each section that says Warren has a number next to it, and looking at blood relatives none of them overlap as far as I can tell, so what's the deal with them? --Foreman(talk) 8:40pm, 2 August 2020 EST
I never actually got finished with the Warren Brood before I burned out on the story. All of the Warrens, the Peters, The Garretts, and the Kraigs are related through Yvette. This makes for a complicated list of relatives that I never fully completed. Some of them are finished . . . others are not. --Elerneron (talk) 14:11, 3 August 2020 (CEST) |

Just building the background for the upcoming story. I welcome feedback on the characters that I have listed or other character types you guys may want to see in the story. --Elerneron (talk) 18:03, 15 June 2019 (CEST)
