With an explosive effort, you swing the sickle in an upward arch. Luck is with you, because it hooks straight into the knight's chin and tears a gruesome wound all the way up to his forehead; ripping one eye along with it. Howling, he covers his face, which gives you enough space to push him off of you and finish the job with a crushing blow that collapses some of the skull.
Your parents forcefully pull you off the knight's body to prevent further violence. But by then he is already lifeless and disfigured. In the distance you see the wheat field rustle, and a small group of serfs emerge from it; fleeing from the scene in screaming panic. No doubt they will alert their lord or the local militia.
