So far I've only included the inner dialogue and thoughts of one character, the main character Emilia. (Gunnar too, if that counts). But just because I've been sticking to her thoughts exclusively doesn't mean it'll have to be that way going forward. It'll depend on what people want. So, the question is:

The walk here wasn't as long as I remember.
The town center IS a lot bigger than I remember though. We've got the same old convenience store, bakery next to it, post office, apothecary…
Ah, yes, there's the café by the park. They still even got that same ice cream truck. Does the old geezer still use his own homemade recipes? I also remember there being a candy store somewhere… Or was it a little shop with local handmade souvenirs?
Playground has been completely renovated. I'm not too old for them yet, right? Most of the kids using them right now are a lot younger than me…
I suppose I could take a little stroll through the park before I return home. Maybe I'll walk by the beach.

Wow, the lake really is really close to the town.
It's way smaller than I remember it being, as you can actually see to the other end of the shore so easily and clearly… But then again, there's more than just one here, aren't there? Plenty of tiny little islands too!
A lot more tiny cottages here than I remember. I do remember hearing dad say tourism is big here due to nature and those rental summer cottages. I suppose I too should one day take a hike up the mountain trail?
Oh, right… These two girls… I should socialize…
