Hmmm, I'm not caught up with the "expanded" HP lore, but I'm pretty sure the statue would be able to detect Voldemort...
Riddle's Diary was able to detect Harry's connection to Voldemort; but that may be because both the diary and Harry housed fragments of the same soul.
This being a fanfic and technically an alternate universe, you have the ability to change the way that the Magicks work in this reality. In Voldemort's reality his presence may be undetectable but whose to say that in this universe he is undetectable?
So it could be entirely possible for the statue to pull Emily away from the Pensieve and say
S - "Who are you"
E/V - "I am Emily Lestrange and I am the Matriarch of Lestrange Manor"
S - "Yes, you may physically be Emily but who are YOU, the fragment that hides within?"

* Niw that you’ve expanded this, this is actually a good idea and it’s got me thinking.  I’ll write a scene along these lines either tonight or later this week.  I like the idea of a consensual or non con scene too, Emily has been in control up until now.
Also, given that you are another HP fan, I value your feedback on the plot and spells as well as the sex.  If you ever have any ideas, feel free to share them on the talk pages for the scene in question and if I like them I will incorporate them sooner or later [[User:Emily|Emily]] ([[User talk:Emily|talk]]) 07:25, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

Latest revision as of 07:25, 15 February 2023

Going off of Innocent Ruin's comment on the other page about there not being any "risk" to the sex scenes so far.

What happens if Emily stays in the Pensieve in the cellar for too long? Is the marble statue charmed (Piertotum Locomotor)?

The statue could be a defense mechanism meant to keep anyone that is unwelcome out of the room.

The choices would be to either

  • Destroy the "guardian" statue (using "Confringo") and thus also destroying the room
  • Rough Sex scene with statue (noncon)
  • Identify yourself as Emily (consensual sex scene)
    • She'd also be enchanted with other spells and charms that make her warmer, softer and self lubricating (possibly even make her a Horcrux for one of the Lestrange witches)

  • Thanks for the idea - it’s a slightly crazy one - the room already “knows” that Emily is a Lestrange so it wouldn’t need to defend itself. The danger to Emily if she spends too long in the Pensieve is more losing her sense of identity, which is already fragile because of the possession. You’ll already be aware that I switch around quite a bit between you identifying as Emily or Voldemort from time to time. There will be some risks to Emily, especially once she gets to Hogwarts which is happening soon. I can gradually add to Pensieve memories, I won’t write them all now. • Niw that you’ve expanded this, this is actually a good idea and it’s got me thinking. I’ll write a scene along these lines either tonight or later this week. I like the idea of a consensual or non con scene too, Emily has been in control up until now.

Also, given that you are another HP fan, I value your feedback on the plot and spells as well as the sex. If you ever have any ideas, feel free to share them on the talk pages for the scene in question and if I like them I will incorporate them sooner or later Emily (talk) 07:25, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
