Welcome to the 2024/II edition of the ATF Story Writing Contest, the fourth edition overall. This contest runs across two sites: this site (ATF Stories), and the ATF Forum. For this edition, only anonymous submissions will be accepted. Other rules might still change, until the official start of the story submission period.
Dual sites
All stories that are submitted to this contest will be published on both sites.
Due to the nature of ATF Stories, discussing rules and voting for the best stories are not possible here. These elements of the contest will be at the ATF Forum only.
Call for prompts
The call for prompts was opened on March 17, 2024, and closed on March 31, 2024.
Prompt selection
On March 31, 2024, poll was set up (on the ATF Forum) to select one of the 16 submitted prompts. Story submissions
On April 14, 2024, the 2024/II edition of the ATF Story Writing Contest was officially kicked off. You can find all the rules and all information on how to submit, as well as a list of submitted stories, here.
Voting
After the story submission period ends, readers and writers will be able to vote for their favorite story/stories, to determine the "Readers' Choice Award". Authors of accepted contest entries will also be able to vote for their top three stories for the "Writers' Choice Award".
The voting process will be entirely on the ATF Forum. Watch this space for more information.
Results
Once voting closes, the winners of the Readers' Choice Award and of the Writers' Choice Award will be published here.
