Maebh is from a long line of witches. He power hearkens back to the Druids and Bards of Celtic Ireland. Passed mother to daughter through her family line, she keeps the ancient knowledge hidden from the mundane world. Maebh is one of the most powerful witches still living, and one of the last vestiges of Celtic magic in the world. She takes this responsibility very seriously. She is always interested in building her power to ensure the survival of her legacy, and therefore has a decent selection of non-Celtic magic at her disposal. She is very careful on what magic she accepts, and would never enter into any bargains with extra-universal entities like demons, djinn, or angels for such power.

She is currently looking for a strong mate with which to produce a daughter (preferably daughters) that can continue the tradition once she is gone. Her family has dwindled to non-existence, and without an heir, the legacy of her particular family dies with her. While her family was concerned with keeping the blood of the family line purely Irish, she is less concerned with racial purity and more concerned with a preservation of the family line and its Celtic magical heritage.
