When you make an external link on the site, be sure to put a space between the link and the display text; otherwise it treats the display text as part of the link (which will usually break the link).  I fixed the ones you put on the [[Nepi Club Directory]]. Additionally, it looks like you are going about adding your signature the hard way.  All you need to do to sign an edit is to use four tilde symbols in a row <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>, or on a talk page you can use the signature button (third from the left on the edit UI, but only for talk pages).  If you need any help or have any questions related to the wiki site, feel free to ask me on my talk page.  --[[User:Elerneron|Elerneron]] ([[User talk:Elerneron|talk]]) 06:19, 27 April 2020 (CEST)

Hi Elerneron, Thank you so much! Sorry if my changes jacked anything up! Thank you very much for the new box on the directory, that was exactly how I wanted the page to look. I am going to copy everything over to the Sandbox later and mock up three different ways of listing stories. If I understand it, I can just preview it and screen shot, then delete. Please let me know if the preview will jazz anything out of wack. --[[User:Fenrix|Fenrix]] ([[User talk:Fenrix|talk]]) 00:10, 28 April 2020 (CEST)

Just a note on using talk pages.  It is best to respond to someone editing your talk page by editing their talk page.  I know it's more intuitive to add your message below theirs, but when you edit a person's talk page it alerts them.  When you edit your own page, they will only notice if they are looking for it.  It's counter-intuitive, but that is the way communication between users works on the wiki.  Thanks.  --[[User:Elerneron|Elerneron]] ([[User talk:Elerneron|talk]]) 04:08, 30 April 2020 (CEST)

Fenrix's Thoughts on Talking

Feel free, to talk, to me! -Fenrix

Elerneron

When you make an external link on the site, be sure to put a space between the link and the display text; otherwise it treats the display text as part of the link (which will usually break the link). I fixed the ones you put on the Nepi Club Directory. Additionally, it looks like you are going about adding your signature the hard way. All you need to do to sign an edit is to use four tilde symbols in a row ~~~~, or on a talk page you can use the signature button (third from the left on the edit UI, but only for talk pages). If you need any help or have any questions related to the wiki site, feel free to ask me on my talk page. --Elerneron (talk) 06:19, 27 April 2020 (CEST)
