The Babysitter and the Sisterly Trio/ChapterIX/Tera Awake Water

"Alright, Tera. You asked for it!" I say out loud.

Checking the nightstand, I see there's still a half full cup of water there that Riley didn't finish. Grinning, I hobble over to get it with Tera still on my arm.

I pick up the cup. "Last chance, Tera." I tell her with a grin. "You gotta get ready for school!"

Since she still doesn't react, I shrug and dump the cold water on her head.

Tera yelps and lets go of my arm. "H-Hey!" She exclaims indignantly. "Not fair!"

"Of course it was fair! How else was I gonna get my arm back?" I laugh at her scowling face, water plastering her bangs against her forehead and dribbling off her chin.

"You look really cute when you glare like that, Tera!~" I laugh. She tries to stay mad, but can't keep it up and a smile slowly creeps across her face.

I turn my back on her. "Well anyways, now that you're awake..." I say to the air. "...You might as well get ready for school!"

I turn back around just in time to catch Tera sticking her tongue out at me before skipping off to join Riley and Evy in the bathroom.

I find my clothes and get dressed, then hustle the girls upstairs when they're finished getting ready.
