New & Improved Story Spotlight Coming Soon
TBH, I haven’t felt like working on this since account creation still isn’t enabled. I’m probably just going to put it off until that get’s sorted… 🙄 - HG Collins
It has now been a year since I launched the “Story Spotlight” in an effort to help readers find stories they might like. The biggest win from this was that this page lead me to also creating an author page which has been fantastic as there is now a place where authors can more officially link to their user pages in an effort to cultivate a deeper connection with readers. Meanwhile, the Story Spotlight itself has still always felt like a work in progress. With that said, I’m very excited to announce that this month, I will be slowly transitioning this page into a “Best of” page to house our best stories across various categories.
This change will hopefully help to turn this page into a true spotlight of the best work on ATF Stories just like I intended at the start. I do have a few ideas for potential categories but if anyone has suggestions, please feel free to leave them on the talk page. Once I finish the re-design, I will consider opening up this page to allow anyone to add their favorite stories. I’m not sure if that is the right move or not because I don’t just want people adding all their own work to this page. That would definitely go against what this page is all about. But I also don’t want to hinder any progress to making it a place where the best of ATF stories is featured. Please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas. I look forward to hearing them.
Yours,
HG Collins
