Umm . . . if I understand correctly, sort of. If those are options on various pages, the most likely. It's basically about keeping the past as vague as possible without it becoming cumbersome so that re-merging the branches of the story are easier. The story will still branch and some branches might not fit back together . . . which is where we have a nexus branch. Overall it should produce a more interconnected story structure if the story is written with that goal in mind. It actually helps that I'm not tracking anything with this story the way that I have with others. While a fun element, they are not conducive to re-merging story paths. --[[User:Elerneron|Elerneron]] ([[User talk:Elerneron|talk]]) 08:11, 5 September 2019 (UTC) |

999 females? Really? How big is that vault? I mean playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas I had the impression there are about 200 or 300 people in a vault, but I never counted the beds. --Grinsekats (talk) 11:02, 26 May 2019 (CEST)
All the vaults were designed to house 1000 people. The games do not accurately reflect that capacity due to the amount of work it would take for little gain; but that is how many people each Vault is supposed to house. --Elerneron (talk) 14:33, 26 May 2019 (CEST)
I found this recently and I was wondering if it's still being worked on. I get it takes time to write but I'm interested in it and I just wanna know what's up with it and how it's going. --IllegalMobster (talk) 17:49, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
I will still be working on this when I can. I was in the middle of things when the site went down. I don't have a lot of free time (and some of it is required to patrol all the new edits each day) so it may take me a while to get things ready. I want a good base to write from; especially in the hope of drawing other writers and keeping things consistent. --Elerneron (talk) 15:40, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
ok cool, take your time and don't rush, I'm just glad to hear it's still being worked on as I'm really interested to see where it goes. --IllegalMobster (talk) 16:55, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
I'm guessing the "nexus" mechanic works something like this
- Option 1>2>3>Converge here and continue the story
- Option 1>3>2>Converge here and continue the story
- Option 2>1>3>Converge here and continue the story
- Option 2>3>1>Converge here and continue the story
- Option 3>2>1>Converge here and continue the story
- Option 3>1>2>Converge here and continue the story
Am I correct on how this works?
