A Guard will do, it should be easy to say he had his Father's permission in the first place. He knew being so young he'd only get a bright "No." if he wants out alone, but he never tried either. He gave it some thoughts and decided to go spot for a Guard. It could be easier to just deal with his Father or go for a hidden route, but he wants to come out from the front gates.
