Heading into the laundry room you dump all your dirty laundry out of your bag and onto the floor. You separate your whites and throw them in the washer first with a heavy dose of detergent. Just as you start up the washing machine, Kimberly pokes her head around the laundry room door.
"Welcome home big brother!" she says excitedly.
"I'm here all the time, no need to welcome me," you respond.
"Are you though? Anyway... you weren't here last night. Why do you have to live in the dorms anyways?"
"For one, so mom and dad can't tell me when to go to bed. Plus there are girls who live just across the hall," you tell her.
"Well, I'm a girl and I live just across the hall from your bedroom here."
