Talk:The Last Horcrux/Hogwarts Express/Talking to Lily

Suggestion for future chapter:

• One of the books that Lily might have, under recommendation of Trelawney, might be Unfogging the Future (Third-year Divination textbook)

• Watch out for the twin pranksters in third-year, they have the Marauder's Map. While neither Emily nor Voldemort would know how to activate it, it would emanate a large aura; holding onto it for the future would be useful.
  • Would Voldemort recognize Scabbers/Peter Pettigrew? (Map now useable)

• In his previous life, Wormtail may have informed Voldemort of the secret passages. Sneak to Hogsmead on a weekend and use the floo network to go to Twilfitt & Tattings and treat Lily to new clothes.

• Hi Mr Pib, thanks, I will have a look at that book on Divination. It will become a larger plot point for Lily.

• I’m thinking that as the Maurauder’s Map didn’t show Harry AND A PIECE OF VOLDEMORT’S SOUL, that it would only show Emily as Emily too. Emily and Voldemort will definitely try to hoard as many magic items as they can. Poor Lily has nothing but her wand.

• Voldemort will eventually recognize Pettigrew.

• Thanks so much for the secret passages link. I think there’s supposed to be seven in total? I’m thinking that one or two are probably not actually that secret any more, whilst others are more hidden or kept secret. The secret guide to Hogwarts that Emily has may have a couple, and Voldemort may know about another one or two. I will check out your link.

• the next few entries will be about Emily and Lily. Expect Hat Sorting, Slytherin House, growing friendship and romance, a bit of messing about with Wingardium Leviosa and Broomstick flying, followed by TROLL! And then Unicorn blood.

• The big plot point for Voldemort will be him realizing that there is another fragment of his soul possessing a different person, and the problems this causes for him.

• The book is outdated, so the passage under the Whomping Willow isn't mentioned, as Dumbledore made it for Lupin. That leaves 6 (one gets destroyed in book 2 and another is never mentioned.) There's technically an "8th" secret passage but you'd need Parsletongue to gain access to the pipe network and then you'd also risk running into the basilisk.

• Oh, unicorn blood! Voldemort's soul fragment might be killing Emily, so even if she doesn't want to drink it she's still going to have to do it if she wants to continue living. Living a "cursed" life is better than being dead I guess. --MrPib (talk) 06:06, 3 March 2023 (UTC)
