Calling all writers: User P.D. Vile once the organizer of Lolicit's writing contest, has now started the ATF Story Writing Contest.
This page holds links to the rules discussion, to the current and future contest, plus an archive of all past contests.
Current contest
(Main entry: Writing Contest 2024/I)
The call for prompts, which ran from December 15, 2023 until December 31, 2023, resulted in 16 suggested writing prompts. From January 2 until January 16, people could vote for their favorite prompts in a poll on the ATF Forum. With just one vote difference, "Sexual education" beat "Forced Exposure". This is now the writing prompt for the contest. Stories can be submitted until April 15. After that, the winners will be determined and announced.
Next contest
(Main entry: Writing Contest 2024/II)
The call for prompts is currently open. After March 31, all suggested prompts will be put into a poll, to pick the next official writing prompt.
Rules discussion
I always welcome feedback and discussion about the contest rules. New ideas, criticism of the current rules, or of how I apply them. All is welcome!
The main place for this discussion is this ATF Forum topic. But you are also welcome to provide feedback through my talk page. I will copy feedback provided that way to the forum, so that other writers (and interested readers) can respond. I will, however, not copy the entire discussion back to here, because ATF Stories is not designed to be a discussion site.
Past contests
Below is an overview of past contests, with links to their full articles.
Writing Contest 2023/I: Magical Children
(Main entry: Writing Contest 2023/I - Magical Children)
The theme for the first contest, round 2023/I, was: Magical children
Stories involving magical children (lolis, shotas, furries, or combinations) getting involved with lewd things.
Note that this includes children that have magical abilities, as well as those that are themselves magical beings. However, the purely proverbial "children are magical beings" to describe how beautiful and wonderful they are won't cut it. There has to be actual magic involved.
Writers could submit their stories until October 11, 2023.
From October 12 until November 2, readers and writers could cast their votes for the Readers' Choice Awards and the Writers' Choice Award.
The Readers' Choice Award winner was Witching Star, and the Writers' Choice Award was for A Deal with the Devil.
Writing Contest 2023/II: Twins
(Main entry: Writing Contest 2023/II)
The second edition of the ATF Story Writing Contest took place across two sites: this site (ATF Stories), and ATF Forum.
After a call for prompts, the majority vote chose "Twins" as the official prompt for this second edition.
The story writing and submission phase was officially kicked off at October 14, and lasted until the last minute of January 15, 2024, "anywhere on earth": 23:59 AoE.
A grand total of 14 competing entries, plus 4 out of competition entries were entered. On January 19, a vote was set up on ATF Forum to determine the Readers' Choice winners. In addition, competing authors could participate in the Writers' Choice Awards.
The Readers' Choice Award winner was Twins Are Fun, and the Writers' Choice Award was won by Island Seduction: A Dinosaurian Adventure.
