Mary lives on the tenth floor and two of the other flats on that floor are empty, the third is occupied by a rather cantankerous old lady who rarely goes out. Mary is older than most of the mothers, and William, her six-year-old son is well known for being a bit cheeky. It's Saturday afternoon when you give her a call and she asks if you can come up and see her.

Mary has straight brown hair and wears thick glasses. She is rather overweight and when she opens the door she is wearing a white blouse and a short skirt that shows off rather more of her thighs then you really want to see. William's in his bedroom, so you sit down to talk to his mother. "It's just a one-off," she says. "I have to go somewhere and it's difficult with a small boy along. I need to leave at two o'clock and I should be back by six. I'll leave the money and you can order a pizza for tea, so you won't go hungry."

You agree on a price and then she frowns. "He's going through a bit of a funny time at the moment. You aren't much older yourself, so I expect you can remember what it was like to be six."

You have no idea what she is on about, but agree that being sis is something you remember. In fact, it was back then that you and Mum moved into the flat with Arthur, but you don't feel the need to talk about that. William, Will, eventually shows his face. He is a slightly built, rather skinny lad, with longish fair hair and blue eyes. He seems a bit shy and nervous but says he is okay staying with you on Saturday.
