Beastkin

Beastkin are a race of animalistic humanoids that are the result of the magical breeding of beasts (animals and monsters) and humans that later bred true. While it has been going on for millennia, the advent of the god war saw a huge rise in the number of beastkin as human mages produced them by the tens of thousands. Using magic to rapidly age and educate them, they were the main combat force for the humans during the war. Humans were the only race to breed beastkin, though the magic would technically work with any two races that reproduce sexually. Such magic can even be used by you with your chosen if you need to breed with an otherwise incompatible species to produce your avatar.

Beastkin vary by the species of animal used in their magical breeding. Each species (or group of closely related species) will have an individual entry for this reason.
