I'd managed to finish up all my work by 2PM, which gave me time to get ready to take the girls to the pool after they got home from school.

When the doorbell finally rang, I leapt up off the couch to go get it, though I was puzzled because it was too early to be the girls.

Opening it, I look down and see a little girl I don't know. She was a bit shorter than Tera, with very light bronze skin. Her jet black hair was tied back in a ponytail, and her eyes were a very striking shade of light amber. Her ethnicity looked Indian, or at least partially.

The girl looks up at me, clearly confused. "Um, h-hello." she says timidly. "I think I got off at the wrong bus stop, an' I was wonderin' if you know ho' to get to my house..."

'The poor girl is lost', I think to myself. 'I should help her, she looks scared...'

"Of course, I'll help you if I can. But uh, didn't your parents tell you not to talk to strangers?" I ask her.

"Ummm... I th-thought this was Tera's house?" she says, taking startled step back.

"Oh, I see. No, that's the house next door." I tell her, pointing it out. "But nobody is home right now. Tera, Riley, and Evy's parents work late and none of them are home from school yet."

"I sh-should.. g-go find someone else to help me..." She seems to be quite scared of me after learning that this wasn't Tera's house.

"Sweetie, you shouldn't wander around the neighborhood if you don't know where you are. I'd be very worried about you, and so would your parents!"

I squat down on my knees and hold out my hands towards her in a calming gesture. "It's okay sweetie, I'm actually Tera's babysitter. I take care of her and her sisters in the afternoons."

She stops backing up, still a bit wary of me. "Wh-What's your name, then?" she asks me suspiciously.

"My name's Rei." I tell her. "What's your name, sweetie?"

Hearing my name, she relaxes. "Tera said her babysitters name was Rei. An' you know her sister's names, so I guess I believe you. My name's Nadia."

"Nice to meet you, Nadia." I tell her calmly.

Now that I know her name, I take a second to examine her further.

Her clothes were quite simple, including a light blue cotton skirt that looked to be second hand. It was also more than a bit a bit too short for a girl her age, so much so that I could just glimpse the edges of her plain white panties from this angle when the wind fluttered it. Nadia' shirt was a dull purple that was probably once much brighter. She also had a fairly plain looking plaid backpack slung over her back, and worse simple white sneakers.

"I have a neighborhood directory inside. If you tell me your last name I can go look up your address and drive you over there."

Not wanting to make her uncomfortable, I add, "...but if you still don't trust me, you can wait until Tera and her sisters come home. She should be home in half an hour or so, if you wanted to wait."

She shakes her head. "Uh, no I believe you. You seem very nice, an' I need to get home befor' my dad does, or else..." her voice trails off. "Um, n-nevermind. Can you help me get home please, Rei? My last name's Lee."

"Of course I'll help you, Nadia Lee." I tell her. "I'm gonna go inside and find the directory. Do you want to come in, or would you be more comfortable waiting outside?"

Nadia hunches her shoulders, considering. "Ummm... I k-know I'm not suppose' to go into strangers houses, b-but..." she pauses. "I d-don't like being out h-here alone..."

I get to my feet very slowly as to not scare her. "Well, miss Nadia. If you want to come inside, I promise on my honor that I will not hurt you, and that I will get you home safely."

She bridles, still uncertain. Then one of the neighbors' dogs barks at a passing car. Nadia squeaks and runs to me, hugging my leg. "Um, y-yes please! C-Can we go inside??"

I pat her on the back gently and ask her to let go of my leg and give me one of her hands. Her hand is quite warm and more than a bit sweaty. I gently escort her into the house, closing the door.

Leading Nadia into the kitchen, I sit her down at the table. "Do you want something to drink?" I ask her. "Water? Milk? Lemonade? Anything you want!~"

"I'll take a glass of milk, I guess..." she mumbles.

I go pour her a glass of milk and give it to her. "I'm gonna go find the neighborhood directory now so I can look up your address." I tell her. "I'll just be in the other room, so if you need anything just shout."

She nods, leaning over the table and staring into her glass. Man, she's cute. I've always had a weakness for indian girls, heh... Damn, that shirt is too big for her and I can see up her blouse! Her chest is flat as a board, and her nipples were standing erect! But that's because of the cold temperature, I'm sure.. Heh...

Not wanting her to catch me staring, I go find the directory. Taking it back to the kitchen with me, I sit down in the chair next to Nadia, and open it up.

"Alright, let's see here..." I flip through the directory - this is a very large neighborhood we live in so it takes a minute. "Ah! I found your address."

"Oh, great!" she says, looking up from the glass of milk that she barely touched. "C-Can... Can yo' take me there?"

I gently pat one of her hands. "Sure thing." I tell her. "C'mon, my car's in the garage."

I help Nadia to her feet and she gives me one of her hands without being asked. I guide her to the garage and help her into my dinky little car. I strap her in, and get in the driver's seat. "Alright, let's go!~"

It takes almost 5 minutes to drive to her house. Not because it was terribly far away (it really wasn't), but because whomever designed this neighborhood must've been high as a kite. So many side streets, short turns, three ways, four ways, even a couple five ways if you can believe that!

Finally Nadia exclaims "Oh! That's my house there!" She points out the window and I pull the car up to the end of her driveway. I stop the car and get out, walking around to her side and opening the passenger door. I help Nadia out of the car.

"Th-Thank you, Rei!~" Nadia exclaims, giving me a hug around the waist. "Tera was' right - you're so' nice!~"

I pat her on the back awkwardly, focusing hard on not getting an erection... "You're welcome, sweetie. Do you have a way to get inside?"

"Yeah, I got a key right here!" Nadia pulls a bronze key out of her pocket and shows it to me. "I'll be okay now, don't worry!" she says. "And my dad's not even home yet, so-"

She stops talking again right after mentioning her father. What was going on there..?

"Are you okay?" I ask her worriedly.

She turns back to face me. "Oh, sorry! It's n-nothing!" she pauses for a minute, then looks at the pavement and scuffs her shoe along it. "Um... C-Can you not tell my p-parents about this? P-Please?"

I frown, more worried by why she wouldn't want them to know than anything else, but I see no reason they must know. "Sure thing, Nadia." I reassure her. "It'll be our secret."

She grins at me. "Thanks Rei!!~" Nadia skips up the driveway. Shaking my head, I get back into the car, but I don't leave until I'm sure she's got the door open.

Once she unlocks the door, Nadia waves to me from the doorway before going inside. I wave back and turn out of her driveway and head back home. Crap, I hope I get back before the girls' bus lets them off!
