The pine trees reach high into the air, like tall majestic columns. Their thick black branches reach to each other and block the daylight entirely, leaving you alone in the dark. A floor of yellowed spruce needles rustle beneath you, and the void under the branches gapes emptily. It is easy to become lost when everything looks the same, and you find it harder and harder to navigate.
