My bad. I haven't read it yet. I was just going from the title "Pre-Warpers" and assumed it was set before the creation of the warp drive. Come to think of it, if that were the case, humans wouldn't even know the Vulcans. Not telling you your business, but in accordance with the lore set out in the series Enterprise (my favorite series BTW) Vulcans didn't serve with humans until the first Enterprise, mankind's first Warp 5 ship. Even in that case, T'Pol was an adviser and not actually a member of the crew. Spock was the first officer of Vulcan descent in Starfleet. You can do as you like with your story. Just letting you know you might get some grief about the lore.
