Me and my mother didn't discuss Thursday the 17th's events at all yesterday. In fact, we didn't even mention those events to each other. She did stare at me at the dinner table with a puzzling smile on her lips, a smile I'm really not sure how to interpret…
And she was looking at dad a lot too, but she was unusually quiet. I really have no idea what was going on in her mind.

I have no idea what today will bring, but I know both of my parents will be home since it's the weekend. Kind of makes me wonder, would my mother dare make me do something with my father around? Does he even know?

One, what if he gets really, REALLY angry at me?

I guess, in that scenario, you would just have to promise him you wouldn't do this stuff anymore. Who knows, maybe we would have to cancel our whole arrangement altogether.

Like I already said, if you don't want to go along with this, I'm alright with this being a secret between just the two of us. I mean, I want to know how he would react, but at the same time… Does the thought of it not make your heart pound a little?

I'd much rather keep this a secret between only the two of us. The fewer people know, the better … but that's just my opinion.

Still, I can see where mom's coming from. She made me do something naughty without consulting him first, without knowing how he would react if he knew, and that troubles her. She sounds SUPER worried, and knowing how dad would react also seems to mean a lot to her. She wants that peace of mind. No, she NEEDS it.

Still, her plan carries some big risks as well… Like, what if he really gets mad? Like, REALLY mad?

Should I really go along with this crazy plan of hers and get myself discovered by my father while wearing a pink star? Or should I just tell my mom "no" and not worry about it?
