You open the manual looking for the section on controller inputs. After about 10 minutes of flipping through pages, you find a section on controller inputs. There's a fold-out signal flow diagram that unfolds to be larger than the countertop that the manual is laying on. It hurts your eyes to look at.

The blurb on the side says that it's showing 6-dimensional N-space plank flow paths coupled with no linear flux lines decoupled from the ̵͔͕͋̒̅̈́̓̂͆̅͋͝v̵̧̡̢̙͈̣͍̮̯͎̮̦̞͈̠͒̏̓e̴̢̞̤͎͆̍̽̌̾̔̍͋͐̂͘͘ņ̷͙̺͖̦̦̮͎̜̂̽̽͛̀͘͜͝ţ̴̖͓̻̠̮̻̤̰̯̭̗̃̂̀̐̏̈̇̂̆̃̔̃̚͠ŗ̷̨̪̝̙̣̩̼̤̼͑̊͊́̏̏̿͜ȁ̸̭̦̠͙̜̞̤͇̄͗̑̈́̃͌̇̓͛͠l̴̡̧̛̝͉̞̼̖̟̣̒̔̃͜͜ ̵̧̨͔̺̙̘̹̝̙̱̬͇͈̣̰̊̀h̸̡͚̺̣͕̽͒̋̈̊͂͐͌̚̚͠͝͝ȩ̴͍̩̜͎̹̻̦̹͐ͅṷ̷̧͖̘̰͓̝͙̠̘̎̈́̈̀́͌̚̚͝͠r̸̢̙̤͍̹̝̼͍̲̺̎͊́̆͆̓̅͝͠į̷̨̟̥̺̰̊̆̐̈̇̌̾͒̍̔͝s̵̠͂̂̈́͌̉̓̕͠t̶̜̺̯̣͚͕̹͆͆̊̅̀̿̊̍͗̾͌̐̇̀͝į̴͕͉͎̥̠̭̘̹͕̞̝̜̱̍ċ̶̨̛̫̪̩̘̤̟͔͚̙͚͕̭̂́̉̒̒͛̈́͝ ̸̱̜̩̝̦̫̂̈́̐͑̄͛̓̑̉̉̚͝ŗ̸̧̮̱̟̣̔̋̊͒̔ȩ̴̜̣̤͇̮̥̫̍̽̈͊͗͐̇̿̓̐̾͗̏͝͝s̶͚̓̅͋͐̄̈ȍ̴̡̢̼̲̘͙̬̣̹̳̣͎̌͝n̸̮̳͉͚͎͚̺͍̙̼̖̑̄́̈́͆̅͋a̵̳̲̳̗͕͖̺̬͚̘̪̣͉͙͋n̵̢̙͍̍̇c̸̡̣̠̖̘̗̤̗̼͙͉̮̠͙̿͘e̶̯͖̙͇͙͙̖̎̅̀͐̂̉͋̊̋͂̅̓̇͝ ̸̛̰̻̈́͑̋͐͌̑̓͂̂͆̾͘f̸̨̢͚̩̙͎̄̔̔͑͛͊̕͠͠l̸̢̯̫̩͎̹̪̥̣̱͍͚͙̊͒̈́̂͐̕͜ö̷̧̤͇̫̝͎̗́̋͗͊̑̔͋̆̀̐͘͘͠͝͝ẅ̷̞͇̼̫̦̩̩̝̪̫̟̖̮̦̈́͒̈́̀͆͊̋͋̅̈́͘̕ ̷̧̗̮̦̱͉͙͔̗̭̝̑̽̿̉͆̿͊̒̉̀̿r̴̟͇̯̬̉͛́̏̓̏͐e̸̤̯̥͎̳̮̯̤͍̩̔͆̍̍̅͋͑̓̔͒͆̂̀̏̕g̷̛̯̰̺̻̮̝̻̮͖̻̿̂͛̍̈ù̸͙͖̞̘͓̩̹͓͉̺͎̱͈͆͑͒͐̉͒l̴̠̼̬̥̲̫͎͉̥̾̈́́a̷̢̡̟̼̥͎̜̟͙̼̯̬͎͍͖̓̾̐͋̿ţ̴̘͔̱̎̑́̈́͝o̷̢̡̡͉̩̖̜͉͔̲̩̮̔̂̃̐͗̾͠r̵̤̯̟̞͈̺̈́ͅ

You think you broke your brain on that one...

Flipping another page you find a section that looks like it might be English. The first paragraph alone uses the word quantum 27 times and some variation of "phase state" a further 17 times.

The simplest explanation that you can fuss out is that the channel change buttons on the remote can maybe swap bits and pieces of your reality for another compatible reality. You're not sure what qualifies as "compatible" but you do find that the area of effect is 24950239 light seconds.

Some quick inputs into a calculator gives 288 light days. That's over 2/3 of a light year that you can theoretically control with this remote. That's, huge yes, but you just can't even imagine how big really. Controlling everything on Earth is still something you can understand. This is a scale that just makes no sense beyond being a number.

Putting the absurd control range aside for a moment, the manual also said something about the remote reconfiguring its own input buttons over time to better match its user. Or "self-optimizing quantum neural network with physical reconfiguration matching user designations over linear timescales" as the manual puts it.

After an hour of reading and double checking an online dictionary you think you have it sort of figured out.

This thing is just fucking magic.

What do you do
