I can suddenly envision a scene, where you go to the Varano household, ostensibly to "punish" Gabriele with her mother's assistance. Actually, 10 is considered the age where it's acceptable (and legal) to leave a child home alone for a few hours. I believe from there it's 12 to be left alone for a few hours with younger siblings as the babysitter, 14 to babysit the children of others, and also to be left alone (without babysitting younger children) for durations greater than 24 hours, and then 16 to babysit for longer than 24 hours.Jemini (talk) 23:33, 27 February 2020 (CET)
