I decide that she's had enough.
I kiss Evy on the cheek and set her down on her back next to me. I pull her jammie bottoms back up, and tuck her into bed beside me. Then I flop back down beside her, still breathing hard.
It takes me almost half an hour to calm down enough to fall back asleep...
