Life Hacks/Young/Don't interfere
“What did you say!?” Roni steps up to the kid. She seems to know she can’t let that pass, but her face say’s she’s completely shocked someone would even say something like that.
“Ooooohhhh!” Someone responds and then all the kids, sensing a fight brewing, start to circle around. They do not really seem to be taking it seriously though, not like you would see if a fight broke out at the highschool level. A lot of the kids seem to be giggling.
“Wh.. what!?” The offender, Billy, responds as he staggers backward a step, looking a little intimidated. He seems to sense something is wrong, but he grows defiant quickly, seeming to not want to back down. “Girls can’t play baseball with boys!” He shouts angrily, “they’re too weak!” He looks at Roni more with fear than condescention as though he called her weak more in wishful thinking than anything.
“Ohhh! Roni’s gonna flatten you!” One of the boys gathered around who you haven’t seen before says.
“Beat him up Roni!” Jimmy from before encourages her.
You’re not sure how Roni might have responded normally, but under the pressure of the expectations from her friends demanding that she perform she seems ready for action.
