About a week has passed, and we're back at the volcanic north, the desert of ash, or whatever you want to call this miserable corner of the world. A lot of good news for me to go through first, as boring as traveling has been.
First of all, I haven't been arrested by the Tribunal yet. That's a big "yet" though, as I haven't even been in the areas where the Temple holds a lot of ground. I should avoid them going forward as well. Secondly, Karim could accompany us on this trip, meaning we'll have an extra hand with us in case we get into trouble. Lastly, and best of all, the tone in Nibani's voice has changed now that she's gotten across reading the books and the documents I brought her.
While I've been absent, Nibani has seen dreams and visions herself, leaving very little doubt in her mind anymore. According to her, I really might be the real deal after all, which is a wonderful thing for her and all of Urshilaku Tribe, who have been looking for someone like me for decades, even centuries. I have already passed two of the trials, and all of these things cannot be dismissed as mere coincidences anymore. She still deems it necessary for me to pass one more trial to make sure there will be no shadow of the doubt about the truthfulness of my claims.
For the third trial, I must travel to the Cavern of the Incarnate, where a secret shrine to Azura is located. I was only given rough directions. Basically, our destination is somewhere on the north-eastern slopes of the Red Mountain, where we must find "the eye of the needle in the teeth of the wind". "Mouth of the cave lies in the skin of the pearl, the dream is the door and the star is the key". Yeah, a riddle. Only if I pass this one final test will my claim of being the true Incarnate become undeniable and unchallengeable.
We're not heading towards the general area quite yet, as we intend to visit that island that Azura talked to me about at her other shrine. We've already made it to the big island in the middle of Sheogorad, so it shouldn't take much longer for us to get there. It's a good thing that the sky is clear, as the last thing I would want accompanying me on this journey is another ash-storm. As for the winter snow… Despite being at the same latitude as the northernmost parts of Skyrim, this area doesn't get that cold, thanks to the Red Mountain. Still, nights can be a bit chilly.
Time to set up a camp, rest, and then crawl under a warm blanket with Karim and Kanna.

Ninety-eight years ago, a Dunmeri priestess and a pilgrim named Rayna Drolan made it her mission to gain Azura's favor through meditation and enlightenment, not by request from the goddess of twilight herself, but of her own initiative. She built herself a tiny hut on a barren island somewhere in the northernmost reaches of the Sheogorad isles, and locked herself inside this building to complete her hundred-year-long meditation, only allowing herself to disrupt her meditation for sleep and food to keep herself alive. She was set to live there alone, on that lonely island, inaccessible by foot, with no sign of civilization anywhere near, somewhere so remote that not even pirates would care to go there. This caught Azura's attention, for it made her happy and proud. However, it also caught the attention of another god, and he made his opinion heard.
Sheogorath mocked the idea of someone meditating for a hundred years, insisting that whoever would try would surely go insane, claiming that nobody could actually succeed in such a feat. Azura and Sheogorath were in a disagreement, and thus they made a bet.
None of this is anything I particularly care about, but it's interesting that gods share some similarities in their personalities to us "mere mortals". I can absolutely see myself making such a silly, meaningless bet with one of my bros and make a big deal out of it, a bigger deal than it should be. Granted, this is on a much larger scale than any bet I would do, and there's something at stake for my good friend Aliya as well, which is gaining Azura's favor. I was more than happy to play along. This all turned out to be WAY more than I expected.
Azura's little hermit, the subject of the bet, was still inside her little hut in the middle of that small, barren island when we made our arrival. There was indeed some disturbance taking place, just as Azura had suspected. The servants of Sheogorath sent to turn the bet in his favor were in the middle of a full-blown orgy. Their idea of disrupting the hermit was through wild, non-stop interspecies sex.
At the center of it all was Staada, the faithful servant of Sheogorath hailing from the proud race of Aureals, more commonly known as Golden Saints in the Tamrielic tongue. She had been sent to Mundus all the way from the Shivering Isles to cause a ruckus. Aureals closely resemble High Elves in their appearance with their golden skin and hair, with even their teeth and bones owning the color of purest gold. Their eyes prove that they are indeed no mere elves, for they look like those of a cat. Staada herself took the form of a very young girl, resembling a child with her perfect washboard chest and belly along with narrow hips and a babyface, all of which were on full display as she was partaking in the orgy.
She's no Dark Seducter, but considering her perversion, she might've as well been. Leaning towards the little hut naked, she was being pounded hard from behind by an Ogrim's arm-sized green cock. I could literally see her stomach bulging from the pounding as that monster's cock forced itself through her helpless body. She had the widest smile on her face though, so even though the act looked a bit violent, she was clearly having fun.
Staada wasn't alone, as she had two female friends. Like I said, this was an orgy, and the Ogrim wasn't the only Daedric male there either. Another Aureal in the form of an adult woman was taking Scamp dick from all directions; she rode one, took one from behind into her ass, and wrapped her tits around one as her body jumped up and down, jerking that lucky Scamp's dick up and down in the soft embrace of giant boobs. The last Saint, in the form of a girl about the same size as Aliya, had a Daedroth on top of her, pounding her cunny in a missionary position like there was no tomorrow.
Having realized our presence, Staada excused herself from being pounded silly by that tall, fat, lumbering Ogrim, and approached us peacefully. Despite having just been brutally fucked, she carried herself with dignity and with a straight posture, almost as if perfectly unfazed by what had just happened. She did not bother to hide her body, nor was there a shade of shame on her face. Instead, with a wide grin on her face, she has something to say.
"Are you lost, or are you here to join the fun?" she asked. "I at least hope you're here for fun. We've been at this for six weeks now, having sex day and night, but us three are having a hard time satisfying all these horny beasts. Maybe you two ladies would love to join us." Then she stared at me with a scornful look on his face. "That… Ugh, that male can join too, I suppose…" Yeah, it didn't seem like she had a very favorable opinion of me.
"I-I do appreciate a bit of fun", Aliya admitted with her eyes still running across all the debauchery that was taking place before her eyes. "But no, I was actually sent by Azura to stop you."
"Rrreaaalllly!?" Staada asked loudly, with eyes bulging wide like a pair of golden bowls in the middle of an empty table. "Well, Eye do appreciate your honesty, little miss what's-your-name." To be clear, her saying "I" did sound more like "Eye", and I thought it would be funnier to write it that way. Sorry for confusion.
"I do have a name too. It's Aliya."
"So, Aliya, what's this all to you?"
"We know about the bet between Azura and your master Sheogorath", Aliya explained, trying to reason with Staada. "The terms of the bet strictly forbid interference."
"Oh dear, miss Aliya, you misunderstand the whole situation. We're just here in this remote location having an orgy in the name of the Mad God", Staada explained with a smile on her face. "We're not disturbing anybody!"
"…Okay then… How long will this orgy last exactly?"
Staada thought about it for a while before answering. "Maybe like two more years or so?"
"No, you can go have your orgy elsewhere", Aliya said as she bore the hilt of her dagger.
"Oh, so you're no fun after all…" Staada finally said, licking her lips. With powerful Conjuration magic, she summoned a bikini armor to cover up her preteen self, and wielded a pair of beautiful scimitars, all of which had been crafted from ebony and gold. "Well, since it has to be this way, we're going to force you three into having fun."
Well, since I wasn't gonna allow my little girls to be defeated and raped, and since I certainly wasn't gonna let myself get killed, I prepared for combat alongside Aliya and my sister. And yes, it was hard to defeat them. Never mind the fact that we were outnumbered, Golden Saints are really powerful, and so were these less intelligent Daedra. Scamps? No problem. Daedroth? Well, one on one they're not that powerful, but this one wasn't alone. And that Ogrim? Well, let's just say it was the greatest challenge I'd faced in all of Vvardenfell.
However, we still had a clear advantage because I was in top shape, and the girls were fresh with all of our magicka at their disposal. I had to tap into my inner strength as well, which is not something I often do. Redguard's adrenaline rush is a powerful thing, capable of transforming us from ordinary soldiers into superhuman warriors for a really brief period, but it's a bit taxing on the body. I'm gonna have a lot of sore muscles tomorrow.
Aliya's destructive spell power is still as powerful as the last time I witnessed it, although her true strength still lies in non-combat magicks. Likewise, Kanna had it easy. We were only up against residents of Oblivion, so Conjuration magic works wonders against them. In addition to summoning her little Scamp to aid her in battle, Kanna managed to bind that Daedroth to her will, forcing it to slay all of the enemy Scamps. Of course, that little Scamp she summoned with its fireballs proved itself surprisingly useful as well. I had no idea it would be that powerful of an ally. Me? I killed that Ogrim in one-to-one combat in addition to one of the Aureals. I take no pride in the fact that I struck a woman in the visage of a busty woman down… Oh well, she'll probably resurrect in her own realm anyway, as these creatures are immortal. Aliya finished off the Daedroth after Kanna's magic ran out.
Before long, only Staada and the other young Saint were left. Kanna must've spooked Staada for good when she finished off that one poor Saint. The tone in Staada's voice changed drastically, and she looked like crying, especially now that she was alone.
"Okay, okay, time out, I give up!"
Being her usual sadistic self, Kanna wasn't too concerned about our opponents pleading. Her magic was more than enough to dominate this Daedra's mind and bend it to her will momentarily. Together with Aliya, she immobilized her for good through paralyzation, burden, and magicka disintegration. She was effectively reduced into being just an ordinary little girl, despite being a creature of Daedric origins. It was quite a sight to see, especially with her complaining and protesting the whole way through.
"How could a puny little mortal control me!?" she asked while holding her tears in. "Who the fuck do you think you are!? You shouldn't be able to control me! Only the Mad God is allowed dominion over me!"
Kanna just giggled and allowed Aliya to have her speech. She walked up to her and said: "Azura demands proof of our victory."
Even in defeat, it was the one thing Staada was not willing to do. Not even Kanna's domination over her mind was going to be able to change that. We thought about it for a moment: should we just kill her? I certainly didn't want to, and neither did the girls. Not unless we absolutely felt like we had to, but she had already surrendered, so… Instead, we collectively decided that it would be so much more fun teasing her. Kanna especially was having a blast, and she started going on about wanting to bind this cute little girl to her and maybe summon her as Kanna's servant from time to time. Staada protested, but it's not like she could do anything to stop Kanna from doing it since Kanna had that Daedra under her control already. Kanna actually did just what she promised, but not even that was enough to break Staada's will. She just said she'd rather kill herself than take orders from a "fucking mortal child". She's one stubborn girl, I must say… Or, maybe we were just approaching the situation the wrong way. Kanna had one more cunning plan.
"Since you're not willing to listen to your new mistress, you're going to be punished like the slave you are", she said, arms crossed, giggling to herself as she spoke down to the monster in front of her. "Since you enjoy sex so much, why won't we punish you through rape? Have you ever been raped by a mortal?"
Yeah, that was the plan. Kanna was setting me up to play the villain in this story. I asked her if she was being serious and said that I had no intention of raping her, but my opinion didn't seem to matter to her. "It's not rape since she's my property", she said. "Just do it, please."
And so, we dragged her to the southern tip of the island and set up a little camp where we would proceed to toy with her. Or, rather, where I would toy with her. Aliya and Kanna weren't gonna help. I got naked and pushed the tiny little Aureal down to her back despite her verbal and physical protest.
"Don't you dare put your filthy thing anywhere near me", she said. Had it not been for her current, helpless stature, it could've even been mistaken for an order. It was clear that she still didn't like me and clearly saw me as inferior, but it didn't matter. I already had a rock-solid boner, as I couldn't deny her beauty in her naked form. Her numerous protests and her constantly talking back to me just made me harder. Am I sick for actually taking pleasure in enjoying raping a little girl? I guess… Or not. It's not like I would ever do this to my fellow man or an elf.
I pushed my dick into her golden folds, and damn, that pussy felt just as good as any mortal preteen pussy. And yeah, She was so damn tight and so damn wet and hot. Despite being fucked silly just a moment ago, her pussy felt just like any other, almost as if the whole talk about promiscuous girls being looser was just a lie. I'm no stranger to tight pussies, so moving around was no challenge. She still tried to push my body back, but she was just so weak. I eventually took hold of her wrists and pushed her down with all my weight. I mean, her pussy was already gripping around my cock tight, so it's not like there was any need for me to try and keep hold of her legs or waist.
It hadn't even been a minute of me thrusting into her cunny in missionary position, and she was already moaning and whimpering. The corners of her eyes were getting watery, and she was still angry, still talking about how a mortal man shouldn't be able to make her feel a thing, talking shit about how I was never gonna make her cum… I took that as a challenge. I eventually grabbed to that perfect slim waist of hers and fucked her harder, as hard as I could. She begged me to stop and slow down, to which I teased her in return. She wasn't able to resist my cock despite all her bravado and tough talk, and I pointed that out to her. She actually cummed while being pounded silly, and I wasn't even close to being done.
The tone in her voice had changed completely. She was not talking shit anymore, and instead, she was just begging for me to stop, at least while she could. She could barely contain her moans of pleasure. It was so damn clear that she was enjoying herself. I mean, was it ever a surprise? I knew she was a hopeless pervert from the moment I set my eyes on her being fucked by that fat, green creature. I called her out on this. "Stupid whore, finally starting to show your true colors, huh?"
"Aaahn, d-don't you dare insult me…!" she responded, or at least tried to. Her entire body shook in the rhythm of my cock hammering her, and her face was that of pure pleasure. Despite being as stubborn as any creature could ever be, her body couldn't cope with all the pleasure her body was experiencing.
That's when I noticed something. There was something on her middle finger, and it caught my attention. It was a pretty little ring, and she was utterly oblivious to the fact that it could easily be snatched from her. So, taking advantage of the situation, I grabbed her arm, held it tight, and stole her ring. This made her wail and protest loudly. "Nooo, give it back! I got it from my Master as a gift!"
Aliya took the ring from me and inspected it, happy to hear that it really was from Sheogorath. "Azura's gonna love this", she said and giggled.
"O-okay, you got what you wanted!" Staada cried out. "Now stop this foolishness and let me go!"
"No chance, bitch", I told her and pulled out, rolling her over to her stomach. I grabbed her waist and slammed my dick into her again. It wasn't done until I said so, and I was gonna keep slaying that pussy until I had claimed it as my own with my cum. She certainly didn't seem like she liked the idea. It was weird that despite having been at it for days, there was no cum anywhere. Maybe those Daedra were forbidden from cumming or something? Some magic at play? Maybe they were neutered? Didn't matter to me. I was gonna cum no matter what, and Staada realized this too. She finally apologized for talking shit and begged for me to not do it inside. "Not a chance", I told her. I was already at my limit. I finally exploded and shot my sperm into her. Big, thick blobs of cum filled her tiny-ass body as she just sniffed and cried.
The work had been done, and the sun was falling anyway. Left lying in a pool of cum and her own juices, Staada just battled her tears. I'm not sure if she was just thinking out loud or if she was genuinely cursing me, but she kept calling me an evil jerk, or something like that, and said that she'd never been humiliated like that before, saying she'd never forgive me. It made me feel a little bad for her… A proud Aureal had been submitted by a mortal man, rendered powerless by magic… I'm not proud of what I did, but I'm sure she'll forgive me regardless because she enjoyed herself being toyed by me.
It gave Kanna more than enough time to use her magic again, reminding Staada of just who she's bound to now, and who her new boss is. "I hope you'll forgive us for this", Kanna said. "Like, it's not personal or anything. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I would love to become friends with you." After that, she banished her back to Oblivion, but not before making sure she could call her back to Mundus if need be. She's always looking for Daedra to enslave to her whims, and being able to summon a Golden Saint, a servant of Sheogorath, a warrior of that caliber, is a pure gift for her.
With this long day out of the way, we can rest peacefully knowing we've done a good dead for Azura. Now, all that's left for us is to find her hidden shrine and for Aliya to enter the Cavern of the Incarnate.

A couple of really cold days are ahead here in the frozen north, where the warm, volcanic winds don't reach as often. Still, it's not cold enough for the sea to be frozen solid, so we can rely on boats for more comfortable transportation. After spending a night on that island where I completed Azura's task, we next set foot to Dagon Fel, the only settlement on the isles of Sheogorad. It's a village of hundred, maybe two hundred residents and a real anomaly in the sense that not a single Dark Elf lives there. Yeah, we're in Morrowind, but no Dunmer live here? Crazy, isn't it? It's settled mainly by Nords, and you can see that in the architecture as well. It's a piece of Skyrim here in the north-eastern lands.
We already found a man in the "End of the World" tavern that was willing to take us back to Vvardenfell when he departs tomorrow morning on a fishing trip. He says he's always happy to help travelers, talked about being an adventurer back in the day himself, and said that he won't even charge us money. Stories of our adventures are enough of a payment for him. How very, very generous of him.
It's freezing outside. Snow is falling too, so we're just gonna go to sleep as we need to wake up early tomorrow anyway.

After another full day of travel through the wastes and then up the mountain - getting ambushed by a trio of bandits on the way - we found a large stone door. It would not open, but I knew that we had found the place we were looking for. Since it was a shrine to Azura, it only made sense for it to be protected by the same magic that Holamayan was. So, we set up camp where we would sleep once needed and waited for the hour of twilight when the star of Azura would shine down on it.
Finally, the door opened before me. The voice asked me to enter, and my friends wished me good luck on the third trial, the final test to see if I truly was the true Incarnate.
In front of me, Azura, in the form of a stone statue larger than anything I've ever seen, sat meditating, on her knees, with her palms extended forward, almost as if waiting for someone or as if trying to catch water. She was gorgeous, even if in her cold, stony visage. I held the Ring of Sheogorath in my hands, and I placed it on her palms. It began floating, and strange magic enveloped it. I'm not sure if it was transformed or simply replaced in a blink of an eye, but what was in its place faster than I could realize was another ring. It was an ornament of silver and gold, a ring depicting a moon and a star. It was her gift to me, so I picked it up. I could hear her voice urge me to put it on, so I did. And then, as I did, her visions flooded my mind.
Finally, she greeted me as Nerevar Reborn. Azura herself recognized me as such, telling me that my first three trials are now complete, but more remain in my way. She gave her next mission to me directly and told me to seek out the Ashkhans and the Great Houses. Just as the fourth and fifth trials say, the four tribes must name me Nerevarine, and three houses must name me Hortator. Only after I succeed in this mission can I finally stand before and challenge the false gods, heal Azura's people, and restore Morrowind from evil.
So, it's finally been confirmed. According to a legend, only Nerevar could wear this magical ring. Anyone else who would try would die if they wore it. This is the final proof Nibani Maesa needs.
That was not all, however. Azura had two more gifts for me. Or, maybe three, if you count being named her champion as one. For my help on that island a few days ago, she gifted me with a special kind of inexhaustible Soul Gem, an artifact they call Azura's Star. As an aspiring Enchanter and someone who's also moderately interested in the art of Mysticism, this artifact will be put to good use. I bet Kanna's gonna be so jealous! Don't have to worry about buying so many Soul Gems anymore! They're expensive as fuck anyway, so this is beyond awesome!
The second gift was the gift of conversation. Azura knew I had my questions, and she was happy to answer many of them.
First, I asked her about my previous life and if there would ever be a way for me to remember anything from it, and her answer was mixed. I can never truly remember what my previous life was like because despite me sharing my soul with Lord Indoril Nerevar, we're still separate persons with separate personalities. Azura said that I shall be gifted with more visions and dreams from my past though, and that these visions will allow me to relive some of the events from my previous life and maybe even teach me something in the process.
Secondly, I asked what truly happened on the Red Mountain? I know there are conflicting accounts of history, and even Azura recognizes this. She simply told me that the visions I see will show me the truth as she sees it, but whether I choose to believe her account of history is for me to decide.
Next, I asked, why me? Why an Altmer? Why not a Dunmer? Nerevar was a Chimer, as the people were once called here, but they're the same race, aren't they? Besides, many locals would rather accept a fellow Dunmer as their hero rather than an outlander. Her answer surprised me.
"There's still a lot you don't know, my child; a lot you don't know about this land or its history, a lot you don't know about yourself. What you cannot remember, for example, is the nature of Chimer of the past. They once shared the same golden skin of Altmer of Alinor, back when the Mer of Tamriel were more unified in their appearance. It was only after the betrayal of the Tribunal that I cursed their race and turned their skin of gold into that of ash. It was I who cursed the Chimer and created the Dunmer. I did not want my champion to carry this curse. I wanted my champion to resemble the Nerevar of the past. Besides, you're not as purebred an Altmer as you might think. Your roots are… more complicated than that."
Sadly, she would not elaborate, but that's that. As I really didn't have any other questions for her, not any questions that she was willing to answer anyway, she let me go on my way.
All of this is making me anxious though. Am I really expected to follow along with this path going forward? The idea of being a hero that will save an entire land sounds pretty intimidating, and the idea of being against the Tribunal, even more so. I mean, they may be false gods, but their powers are still close to god-like. Furthermore, as became apparent to me in that Cavern, there have been Nerevarines before me as well; I'm not the first Nerevar reborn, as these ghosts of the past made clear. I spoke to six different ghosts who all gave me their blessing for the mission that lays ahead of me. They all failed, and they all made it clear that I must not fail. I really, really fucking hope I don't… But at the same time, I just can't help but wonder… Am I strong enough? Perhaps not, at least not yet… I need time, but how much time do I have…? Like I said, I'm anxious, and writing this just made my anxiety a trillion times worse…
Finally, I brought the news to my friends. They're supportive of me as well, and they're hopeful that everything will turn out alright. Tomorrow I'll return to Urshilaku, where I will be named their Nerevarine. It is, however, only the first step, and it's been a long and arduous road to get to this point. Somehow, I fear things are only going to get more difficult from here.
Evening Star, 21st, 3E 427
(By Aliya)
So, the Ashkhan of Urshilaku named me their Nerevarine. He recognizes me as their war-leader, the one who must unify all the four clans of Vvardenfell under one banner. Me being their leader is nothing but an honorary title, although, at the same time, that honor is immense. Also, since I have already passed three trials and already have the proof on my finger, uniting the remaining three tribes will be much easier. Or, so Nibani and Sul-Matuul hope. The other clans are not part of the Nerevarine cult, so I still need to prove myself to their wise women and Ashkhans and likely do something for them before they can accept me as their war leader.
However, that's only the good news; Nibani had some bad news for me as well. Firstly, she has no tips for me regarding how to unite the three Great Houses, meaning I'm on my own in that regard, and that fucking sure isn't gonna be as easy as gaining recognition from the four tribes! In fact, that part will be the most challenging one on this journey for sure.
Also, while I may have made many friends and allies with this feat, you need to realize that with fame also comes infamy. The word will spread, the word must spread, and when it does, I will only become more recognizable by friends and enemies alike. One man's hero is another man's villain, and even the most agreeable personalities can be viewed as controversial in the eyes of the dissenters. The Temple, in particular, will know me as their enemy to be defeated, and the Tribunal will not take the idea of Nerevarine challenging their rule lying down. Ordinators will, without a doubt, try to imprison me for my heresy, maybe even have me killed. I'll have to be really careful going forward.
Nibani already told me where to find the three remaining tribes, but we won't seek them out yet. Instead, we'll return to Balmora and plan our next move from there.

We've been home for a while now, and things have quickly returned to normal. Karim has returned to his duties with the Legion, and Kanna has been doing some minor work around the nearby region.
Myself, I'm having trouble figuring out where to start.
The tribes shouldn't be a big problem, and I might have an easy time with Hlaalu and Telvanni due to my own connections with the latter and my Imperial connections when it comes to the former. Or, perhaps it'll be difficult despite all of that. Karim is with the Hlaalu, so maybe he could vouch for me too? He knows some big shot within that organization, so that could be a big plus for me. Hard to say. Maybe I shouldn't expect this to be easy.
Gaining House Redoran's recognition will be the most complicated mission of them all, and that I can already say with confidence. They're loyal to the Temple, who in turn must see me as an enemy at this point. The idea of getting them on my side honestly seems almost insurmountable. And yeah, forget about House Dres and House Indoril. They're even more conservative than Redoran is, not that they own any land here anyway. Besides, the fifth trial only states three Great Houses, so I don't need to worry about them.
I'm not sure where to start yet, so I'm gonna lay low for a while, maybe just focus on helping my friends instead. Possibly in the meanwhile, I can seek out the tribes. My friends have helped me so much, and I feel like I owe them both. Kanna especially has a lot of work on her plate and considering that Karim is preoccupied with his work, she needs a travel companion anyway.
