Getting up, you slowly start walking behind Xeri. He leads you to a hallway riddled with doors and windows.
"I get alot of Intruders so most of these doors lead to nowhere and in some cases alternate realities."
"Intruders?" You wonder who would possibly enter a house like this one.
"Yes, Intruders. They happen here more often then you think."
Before both of you got off topic you started to ask him about what knows about your family in particular.
"Oh yes! About that, the scenario is everyone in your family has a particular special ability that they are keeping a secret from you."
"What do you mean?" You say confused.
Calmly explaining to Xeri, you tell him you figured that you didn't fit in with the family because something was off, you always kept the feeling inside you that they're trying to hide something life changing from you, and now that Xeri said what the big secret out loud you don't seem too surprised about the result. You continue the conversation but you can tell that Xeri is becoming a bit annoyed. After a few minutes you ask him if you have any special abilities or powers. He then stops but doesn't turn around.
"I'm going to be blunt with you, compared to the rest of the decker family your the odd one out, you have no supernatural abilities what so ever.
"What?"
You are definitely caught off guard by that statement. Xeri then starts walking again and shortly after you follow, making sure to keep a "just out of earshot distance from each other". You are a disappointed about how your just a normal guy compared to the rest of your family, but continue walking behind Xeri for a moment longer down the seemingly endless hallway. Before he eventually stops at one particular door.
"Here we are."
Xeri opens the door and walks in. You decide to follow him but then something catches your eye. There is a door a few feet away from the one Xeri just entered emitting a strange dark presence, to be honest it's frightening to even look at. The door has what seems to be made out of a heavy metal covered with rust do to aging, there was a series of 10 deadbolt locks on it. Five on each side covered with a bullet proof glass box riddled with chains.
"Hey kid, you coming or what?" You hear Xeri in the background calling you.
