Villainy/Raven's Child/Lost Child/Persuade
Instead of going through the door, you just stand there with your hands balling into fists at your sides as you attempt to come up with what you are going to say. But first, you need to look the part of a scared lost child. You aren't an especially great actor, but you have enjoyed interacting with young children a lot and kinda know how they act and think. Plus, you have had ONE acting class before. More than the exposure to children the age you are currently trying to act like, the much bigger help is the advice you received in that acting class, to not attempt to suppress your nervousness but rather to channel it.
Right now, what you are feeling is nervousness about whether or not you are going to be able to convince this guy, and uneasiness with the fact that you are going to be lying to him. In order to fit this roll, you are going to have to channel those emotions into the nervousness of a scared kid wanting to talk to someone they think can help and uneasiness of talking to a stranger as well as uneasiness of being in this strange place lost without her daddy. Yes, daddy. That's going to be your cover story.
You can feel your chest actually starting to tremble as you push your already existing emotions into this new justification for the role you are playing. You wondered for a moment about using your power to give yourself acting skills, but if you did that at this point you very well might break down crying so you decide to hold off on that idea. This is definitely enough. The poor guy is looking at you curiously and he seems to have realized that something is off.
"Umm..." he shifts about looking a little uncomfortable. "Uhh... is there something wrong honey?" He asks, kneeling down in front of you a bit in order to get on your eye level. He certainly does seem to be a good guy alright. It makes you feel really bad tricking him, but it also makes him the perfect person to try and get to help you.
"I... I can't find my daddy!" You tell him in a voice that sounds like it's rather distraught, but you are still just barely in control, and then back up against the wall. Ok, that's enough information to give him. This is also all a real 6-year-old kid would really say too. Especially to a stranger. So, now you just have to hope he is as good a guy as you quickly assessed him to be.
