You are Atlas, son of Iapetus, born to a noble and prestigious family of warriors who have served the Atlantean throne for two centuries. You are a simple, yet ambitious man, who is not content with simply walking in your father's footsteps.

You are an ambitious man who has big goals in life. Sure, living a long and healthy life takes importance over everything else, but to call that a dream or a goal would be quite inaccurate. What you desire more than anything is wealth and power. You could say that as a nobleman you already have them both, but they would only be partially correct. Sure, you have the money, but unless you're a king, your family name and your status will only go so far. Your ambitions of strength and power go further than what your father has. You want to surpass him. As for wealth, it can be argued that there is more to it than mere material.

Wealth for you means also abundance in knowledge, time, relationships and love. Especially love. Some men want to settle down with a wife and have kids, but you're not like that. One partner is not enough for you. You could even say that you want to have multiple lovers, perhaps even multiple wives. Needless to say, you're nowhere near as "wealthy" as you want to be. There's a long road ahead of you if you want to make your dream a reality. Lucky for you, you've found a shortcut.

To help you achieve your dreams, a new power has blossomed within you. Yesterday, you ascended to divinity.

Yeah, you didn't really see it coming when you woke up yesterday morning. It was looking to be just another day, yet here you are, laying on your bed just a day later, really happy with yourself and your… Accomplishment? I'm not sure it can be called that. In any case, you've got yourself a brand-new power, one that you couldn't be prouder about.

Your power is a very simple one, and it doesn't have many strings attached, at least not yet. You are still in infancy as far as being a divine goes, so this will all definitely change in future as you become more powerful. Your power is one that's constantly present; you can't turn it off even for one second. It cannot make you stronger as a human, and it can barely increase your magical capabilities. Regardless, you like it. Your power is simply called "Charm".

If it can't even be controlled or turned on and off, how does it really work? Basically, it makes it easier for you to deal with all kinds people in all kinds of situations. Be it seduction, persuasion or even deception, through your mere words and presence you can easily trick people to work in your favor. Because of the nature of your power, there aren't many set rules attached to how they work; it all depends on the individual you're trying to charm. Some people are really easy, while some nuts that are tougher to crack than the others. You can't just make anyone do anything either. After all, your powers are not waterproof. Your powers may sometimes even attract some attention you don't really want to attract, because, well, you can't turn your charm off, ever. It is also less likely to work on people who know about your powers, weakening your abilities under certain conditions even further.

To help with this passive ability you've also got one that you can only use every now and then. It's called hypnosis, and it can be used to put your target into a state of near absolute complicity which lasts anywhere from five seconds to many minutes, and that's not all. Your targets will forget everything they did while they were hypnotized, making it a very convenient tool. Should you get better and more powerful in future, its effect will get stronger and longer, working for hours, or perhaps even days. It only works on one person at the time though, and you can only use it about once in an hour. While even extreme commands work on some people, forcing them to do outlandish things over and over again will weaken the hypnosis, making it easier for them to snap out of it and break the spell. Forcing them to do self-destructive things will also have the same effect. You don't want the spell to break ever, because it will make them realize what's going on and remember everything that happened during hypnosis. Needless to say, overusing this ability is dangerous, especially against certain kinds of targets. Oh, and also, in case it needs to be pointed out, you obviously can't force people to do things they are not physically able to do.

Your abilities are still in their infancy. You're guaranteed to become more powerful in the future and unlock new abilities in the process, but for now, these two abilities are all that you have. Some may think that "Charm" is a weak ability, but that's not actually the case. It is a versatile ability that has many uses, especially in these more peaceful times. Besides, as far as achieving your dream goes, it's a jackpot.

How did you become a divine anyway? What happened yesterday?

Skip that. Let's concentrate on today and take the first step towards making your dreams come true.

We can also just skip even further straight into the future, when you're more experienced, and when you can actually work towards some of your more… Ambitious goals.
