Megumi is one of the students of Itou Academy.
Personality
Shy and anxious around new people, loud and opinionated once she gets comfortable with you, she has in the past not had any other otaku friends. When she realized she could talk to Yuu and he actually understood what she was talking about, she opened up quickly to him. As a fujoshi, she is a huge fan of boy love manga. Most of her preferences have been shaped by anime; for example, she very much wishes tentacle monsters were real. Offered the chance to more or less live out an anime, even if it's harem genre, she leaps on the chance.
Her relationship with her parents is distant. They're not abusive or neglectful, but they've never really tried to get to know their daughter. While they would notice her missing if she disappeared for more than overnight, they've never asked her where she's been when she's gone out, nor have they inquired about the packages of anime goods she frequently gets in the mail. Her hobbies are a complete mystery to them.
Character Conception
A lot of the students I made up long enough ago that I don't remember what I was thinking when I made them, since I didn't write it down at the time. That goes for Megumi too. What I can say, is that since I numbered their filenames in AA2, I do know that Megumi was the first character I made for the school. Nanami, was in fact, number 8.
Interesting note, while the picture here only begins to show it, her hair is long and voluminous enough that she could use it as a sleeping bag if she wanted. It runs down to her ankles braided.
