Summer Holiday/Spain Day 8 Toni
“I got into bed with Daddy while he was asleep. Mummy wasn’t there and I pulled the covers down so I could have a look at it. It was all floppy but when I held it, it swelled up and got stiff.”
“What happened then?”
“Daddy woke up. When he saw what I was doing, he got cross and pushed me off. I got upset and he gave me a cuddle and told me that little girls weren’t supposed to play with their daddies thingies. It was still standing up stiff like yours, and he said he needed a pee went into the bathroom. When he came back it was tucked back inside his pyjamas.”
“What happened after that?”
“I asked him why it got stiff, and he said that’s what thingies did. I asked him why and he said something about making babies but I didn’t understand. Asked him if I could have another look; he didn’t want to, but in the end he said okay so long as I promised not to tell Mummy. It was all floppy when he pulled it out, but it soon got stiff again and he let me catch hold of it. When he jumped up and ran off to the bathroom, I thought I’d hurt him, but he said he was okay and kept going on about not telling Mummy.
