"I believe we should discuss grief counseling as Doctor Charbonneau suggested," you say. "There are a lot of people out there that have been ripped away from loved ones. We need to decide how to handle the large number of people that need counseling."
"Yes do you have any staff, Scarlet?" asks Doctor Romero.
"I am afraid not," says Doctor Charbonneau, "it is just me. Perhaps we can scan the record for anyone with Psychiatric training to act as short-term councilors, no?"
"That's a good idea," you say.
"Processing . . ." says the assaultron by the door. "List sent."
Doctor Charbonneau's Pip-Boy chimes, and she turns to look at it. "Très magnifique, this will do nicely. I will arrange a schedule, and send it to you later today. C’est simple comme bonjour."
"I think that wraps that up. Moving on?"
"We should put it to a vote before leaving a topic, Tay," says your mom. "It's the democratic way to do things."
You are about to remind her that you are no longer in a democracy, then think better of it. Let them have their illusions. "Sorry Mo - Chief Willis. I'm new to this. All those in favoer of moving on to the next topic?"
