The Entertainer/Back to the Castle
We had a good laugh while discussing various things, singing and doing whatever. The King even explained how he got his catch.
Turns out that unicorns are well hunted for their horn. Whether it is for magical purpose or crafting, people will come for miles just to get one hand on these things. All the hunting done in the past has reduced them greatly, so much that people jokes that only virgins can meet them now. They're also featured in some of the story books written for kids, and the King teased me he'll make me read them.
His intentions is to try and make a new breed with the horses he already has in the castle and have one of the batch of kids get used for a science project. In the meanwhile, he'll also send men to try and find more of them.
Meanwhile, he already knew that werewolves were about, but weren't expecting them there. He already has men sent out to nearby villages and beyond making camps to control and kill the incoming horde, keeping a close touch with them. He'll have to secure that place too. I do recall how some were living a few days of walk away from here, but they tend to be loners. Not my problem if they get caught either.
Back at the Castle, the King ordered his men to prepare a pen for his catch, and two guards to send the corpse to the scientist. He also had me, Torrick and the Prince go and wash off the blood before heading for the feast.
