Biography
When he was in his early 20s, he fell in love with his friend's little sister who was only 12 year old at the time. They knew they could not get married, but they maintained a secret sexual relationship for several years. When he went to work at the factory in Mahogony Hills and discovered their old-time traditions and perspective on marriage and relations, he had his now 14 year old girlfriend move in with him. She was in a broken home to begin with, and so there was not as much objection as one would expect from this arrangement. Upon getting her pregnant, they were married by the town's rules despite the age issue. They have been happily doing the good christian thing ever since by "being fruitful and multiplying," adding several children to the town's population.
He was astonished when the new punishment guidelines came out, but then he quickly decided it was just this town's customs that were different from what he was used to and chided himself because he knew what kind of town this was when he decided to settle here. Since then though, he can't help coming to the realization that his oldest daughter is about the same age his wife was when he first fell for her all those years ago.
