You choose to pluck at the taut string of the man’s lust, but your ability to influence people in not mind-control. Instead of acting on his feelings in this crowded, public place, the man responds to the sharp rise in his arousal by turning away from Sara entirely. He adjusts his slacks, and quickly quashes down his lustful feelings until you almost lose them in the quiet din of the bus passengers’ mundane emotional flow.

Still, he is unlikely to soon forget the way the angel-faced girl with the sunlight hair made him feel this morning.


There is nothing left to do but wait and watch.
