The idea for the age-based picks at least is that they are chosen based on their image and not off a character bio. Trying to keep it with the information that makes sense for the MC to know at this point, and with the direction the story is going I thought it would make the most sense for the girls' to be chosen based on physical appearance and what little the MC can gather of the behaviors he's observing.
