Biography
Mike is a bit of a people person, not so much that he's the center of attention, quite the opposite actually. He likes to blend in with the crowd and just watch people and their interactions. This has allowed him to understand the nuances of day to day interactions, enabling him to interpret peoples behavior before they even know they are going to act.
He considers himself to be an amateur psychologist, having studied psychology while getting his teaching degree and then self taught after.
He uses his skills to improve the lives of his students, his family and his friends. Being a public high school shop teacher he tends to get more of the troubled and disenfranchised students in his class.
Mike and Jake have never actually met in person. Despite his best efforts to meet him, Mike has not been able to sit Jake down or be in close proximity to Jake for any reasonable length of time. Mike would very much like to be a force of reconciliation between his wife and her brother.
