Generations/Give the work your all

Despite your horrid injuries, you still put in all the effort you can into the work in the field. You harvest as much wheat as you can, which even without considering your wounds is still impressive. You also ask for very little help, carrying all of your own harvest and still doing plenty of heavy lifting.

Your body roars in pain as you push it to its limits and your vision starts to blur at points. Once you’ve pushed yourself to the point of near collapse, the work is finally over and your family is permitted to go home and rest. You lie down, on your belly of course, and grimace as your entire body screams in pain and makes your night restless.

That is, until your ears are flooded by a melodic tone accompanied a beautiful voice. As the song continues, you feel yourself begin to doze off, practically against your will.

What do you do?

• Let yourself fall asleep
• Try to resist, but pretend to fall asleep
• Get up and find the source of the song
