Family Ties/Do you ever think about divorcing daddy?
Tyler darted his eyes back and forth several times before settling on his mother. "Truth of dare mommy?" Tyler asked, innocently enough.
Cindy took a few moments to think over her response. To Tyler's obvious dismay she requested a truth. Tyler, for his part, shook off his disappointment rather quickly and got down to business. "Have you ever thought about divorcing daddy?" The question was bold for such a little boy and certainly took his mother off guard.
"Well.., actually sweetie, I have." Cindy took a breath. "In fact it's crossed my mind more then a few times since I found out I was pregnant with you." She admits, but it pretty evident in Tyler's eyes that he is looking for the reason for the feeling as well. Cindy picks up on this pretty quickly and goes into her explanation.
"You see, Daddy doesn't always do a great job of taking care of all of mommy's needs. He has always provided a good life for you and me financially but some times I feel very alone. He is away so much that if it wasn't for you I think I would have lost my mind baby. Your my everything." Cindy concludes.
Her answer seems to satisfy Tyler, who hands over control of the board to his mom. "Your go mommy." Cindy decides to choose:
