Generations/The Undergrowth

The undergrowth grows denser as you travel. The fern reaches your knees, and you find yourself pushing past bushes and vines. Now and then you come across patches of blueberries; hidden among the plants and never cultivated by man. When you stop to inspect them you also find gnawed bones and rotten animal remains. The undergrowth hides both life and death from the naked eye.
