Generations/The Carrion

Here you can see that the ground is disturbed. Branches are snapped, trees are claw-marked and tracks lead in all directions. There are discarded remains of animal here; piles of bones and flesh smeared all over the ground. At first it is easy to assume this to be the work of wolves, but then you see that animal sinews have been braided together with teeth to make crude charms. Why they were made and why they were left remains unclear, but it is evident that sentient beings made these. The tales of ogres and goblins fill your memories, and when you hear distant movement you decide to leave the place.
