Yana and I made it to Markarth and started investigating the attempted murder as soon as we got a room at the Silverblood Inn. Margret, the lady I saved when I first entered Markarth was drinking an ale by the fire and waved me over as soon as she saw me. I introduced Yana and then started asking her a little more about why someone wanted her dead. Now I may hate Imperials, but I think I can make an exception in her case because she seems really cool. With a little convincing, she told me she's an Imperial spy, trying to buy the Cidhna Mine, or steal the deed so she thinks the Silverbloods are behind the attack. That made sense to me, but I'm not sure why she thought it was a good idea to say that right in the middle of the SILVERBLOOD Inn!!! Literally anyone could have overhead her. She didn't know how the Forsworn could be involved, but that was at least something I could take back to Eltry.

When I left the Silverblood Inn to keep investigating, a guard stopped me and warned me to stay out of other people's business. It was kind of scary, but I'm not going to let some stupid guard tell me what to do. I found out the man I had shot had been a mine worker living in the Warrens and that was the next place I was headed to see if I could find any clues to why he attacked Margret. I swear I hate looking for anything in this city. It's the most confusing place to get around. When I finally found the Warrens though, I kind of wished I hadn't. It's this old run down slum that is apparently full of diseases, too. I'm too pretty to be hanging around there. At least that's what a beggar down there told me.
