For the sake of what passes for realism in a story like this, not to mention a change of scenery, I really think it's time for Sally to get going. But if anyone has any alternative ideas about how he can address her commando-ness, feel free to suggest it. Of the current two options, the nurse should be obvious, and the other would be that he has no solution and just sends her to her next class with an excuse for her lateness and warning to be careful. Incidentally, in case that option is popular, have their been any other teachers mentioned in other branches? She's in grade school so she really should only have one teacher throughout the day, with the possible exceptions of gym/p.e. and maybe a computer class or something that takes a specialized equipment. You could possibly make an argument for some sort of Accelerated Reading class or something, but yeah, for the most part it would be just Mr. Vice. I didn't start switching classrooms for each class until Middle School (6th grade) and even then it was "pods" where 4 classrooms were grouped together (English, Science, Social Studies and Math). Either way, I think the Nurse is the best option, and a grateful Sally can come see him after class is over for the day (or visit his house since the next day is Saturday.
