That smug bitch! You think as you grab your jacket and slam the door behind you. Why did she smile like that? Did she enjoy making me feel like an ant under her boot? In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if humiliating others gets her off…

Then it dawned on you. The order… changing how she wanted her steak five different times... only diced onions on the left side of the plate, mashed potatoes and gravy on the right — you had even rearranged it after the chef mixed it up — No spices on the medium rare steak, and bottled water with just one quarter slice of lemon. It was like she was trying to sabotage me! The fucking witch was just waiting for a single mistake, even a tiny one. And then I even showed her my blind side.

You slide into your car, turn the key in the ignition, and pull out of the parking lot.

Man, it fucking sucks having to work, you think. You pour your heart and soul into a job only to get tossed to the side like a used napkin. If only I didn’t have to…

Suddenly, a little girl with blond curls darts into the middle of the road. Startled out of your brooding frustration, you honk and slam on the breaks as hard as you can. The girl freezes in fear and stares at you like a deer in the headlights as your car comes screetching to a stop just a few inches before the girl. Then, she shakes her head and skips across to the other side of the road, as if nothing had ever happened. What the fuck?

“The little brat didn't even care that she could've been killed!” You mutter to yourself as you take your foot off the brake, “Life must be so much easier if you don’t worry about anything…”

...Almost like Bayley, Despite all the twisted shit that happened to you today, a smile spreads across your face at the thought of your youngest sister. The little whirlwind has no worries or responsibilities. She just lives each day from moment to moment and does whatever she wants.
